Experience

Angela Kuek is Director of The Meyer Consulting Group, a boutique search and recruitment firm focusing on Sales, Product and key support functions in the financial and professional services industry. Angela was previously with Hudson Global Resources for more than eight (8) years, where she headed up the Banking and Financial Services (Front Office) team. She specializes in the ‘Senior Banker’ space, comprising front office and key support positions in Private Bank, Wholesale Bank and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI). Prior Hudson, Angela spent 5 years as a Relationship Manager with HSBC and thereafter as a Management Consultant with Accenture for 3.5 yrs in its Human Performance Division, where she led and delivered HR and Change Management projects for financial institutions.

Specialisation

Angela specialises in the recruitment of senior bankers and professionals in the ‘individual contributor’, business head or top leadership functions. Her experience covers both buy and sell-side financial institutions and the regional geographies of South East Asia, Hong Kong, China and Japan.

Education and Affiliation

Angela graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Psychology) and an MBA from the National University of Singapore. She also has a Graduate Diploma (with merit) in Human Capital Management from the Singapore HR Institute.

Angela holds the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) credential from the Centre for Credentialing and Education (CCE), USA. She is also a Certified Master of Career Services (CMCS) credentialed by the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and serves as a qualified Reviewer of candidate applications for the CMCS through the NCDA Credentialing Commission.
